About
Dark, Different, Fresh. Take a revealing look into the lives of a dysfunctional family. A devastating story followed by a beautiful message.
Written by Dominique Mickelson
Premonitions is a short play centered on two days in the life of a young woman named Rosie. In these two days, the audience is given a brief look into her past while also watching her current life hint at an unforeseen and nearby tragic future. Rosie’s relationship with her estranged mother, her friendship with her neighbor Henry, and the foundation of love and support she’s been given with her Aunt and Uncle will all be tested. While the show’s content suggests dark themes including sexual assault, child abuse, and anxiety, the message is a clear and strong one. Bad things will happen in each of our lives, sadness or grief is inevitable, however if you don’t forgive for the sake of yourself you won’t be able to find happiness and move on.
